If you want to reap the benefits of this type of mindfulness, trying it sporadically will not be good enough. Leaders must make writing a regular routine to see actual results. Make it a routine, even if only for a few minutes a day.
- It is quite normal for your mind to wonder. Don’t fight it. Allow it and see where it goes. You will be amazed at what you will come up with. If you need to focus on a specific idea during your mindfulness exercise, then gently bring the mind back to focus when it wanders and be patient with the process. It gets easier with practice.
