The Jonathan Sanchez Memorial Scholarship

The Jonathan Sanchez Memorial Scholarship

Jonathan Sanchez: The Entrepreneur / Visionary / Innovator / Leader

The Jonathan Sanchez Memorial Scholarship honors the life of my dear friend and former student, Jonathan Sanchez. Jonathan believed in giving back. This generous partial scholarship celebrates his life by paying forward his generosity while helping out his family a little along the way.

Jonathan believed in this program, what it did for him, and what it could do for others. I believed in Jonathan and what he was doing for the world. Unfortunately, his life was cut short. However, that does not mean that his vision of community and organizational improvement cannot be continued. However, as he would say, “that will require more leaders.”

Jonathan had a major impact on my life, and I was excited about what he wanted to do for his community and the world. Anyone who knew him misses him. Now, I get to honor him and help keep his memory alive by providing greater access to a program he had come to love.

Jonathan passed away on January 20, 2022, at the age of 40, leaving to mourn family and friends. Jonathan is survived by his wife of 12 years, Bonnie Sanchez, and his sons, Sawyer and Logan Sanchez. If you would like to help Bonnie and the kids, I would highly encourage you to donate whatever you can spare to their family’s GoFundMe.

Thank you!

"David is a true leader with vision and thought that is truly mind-blowing. Couldn't recommend him more!."
Jonathan Sanchez, MMIS, CMMC-RP
