Wichita, Kansas – GrassFire Industries LLC is running a billboard campaign with for branding purposes, beginning September 10, 2018. The campaign is set to run for fourteen consecutive days. If the outcome is a positive one, it may mean more business for area billboard companies.

The initial campaign is a merely a test to discover whether billboards will be an effective marketing tool in the coming months. Ultimately, GrassFire seeks to discover if people are even looking at them. Success will be gauged via web hits and phone calls over the next 45 days and will likely be based off of a single location. While conversion is important, that will not be factored into this particular experiment.

Options for marketing are plenty in Wichita and in the surrounding area. Finding the right marketing tool for a niche business such as GrassFire can be a challenge. While there are plenty of marketing companies to choose from, Fliphound simply provided the easiest and most cost-effective platform to conduct the experiment.

There were plenty of options to choose from,” CEO David Robertson said. “Ultimately, I wanted something that was easy and convenient, so we went with them.” When asked why he chose billboards over other types of media, David explained “We’ll get into radio and television eventually, I hope. For this one, I wanted something that was cost effective, something I could track, something that touches the target demo and something that raises some brand awareness in the area. That meant billboards to me. At the end of the day, we are a growing business and we need to let our nearby neighbors know that we are here.

There just might be a method to his madness but time will tell. Robertson ran a marketing and advertising firm based out of Wichita for a decade. Let’s hope his strategy pays off.
